HOW FRESH IS OUR COFFEE?

Our roasting partners will roast in frequent small batches to ensure your coffee is at peak quality when it ships. Our roasting schedule is guided by customer demand, not warehouse inventory—so your coffee isn’t sitting around waiting to be sold. We’ve built our roasting and fulfillment process to prioritize freshness, responsiveness, and quality. Orders are often packed and shipped the same day they’re roasted, helping us minimize storage time and deliver coffee that’s full of flavor and character.

Because of this, the coffee orders will take 1-5 business days before our roasters are ready to ship them. Once shipped, it can take an additional 1-5 business days depending on the customer location via standard ground shipping by USPS. All orders come with tracking information that we update your order with.

STORING COFFEE AND HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?

Dried coffee, if stored properly, can last for months and even years.

How to tell if Coffee is bad?

The best way to tell if it has gone bad is to use your sense of smell. If coffee has gone bad, the pleasant aroma will be gone and with it much of the taste. Using this coffee will not harm you, but will just not have much flavor if the smell is gone. It may also lose its deep dark color and appear a lighter brown.

How to store coffee beans to extend its shelf life?

Coffee does degrade over time and it degrades faster depending on the surface area - which means that the whole beans will keep longer than ground coffee. The best way to store these beans is to place them in an air-tight container in the freezer. You should grind fresh only the amount you plan to use that day to avoid unnecessary exposure. Storing coffee in this way will keep out moisture and other contaminants.

How to store ground coffee to extend its shelf life?

The best way to store ground coffee to keep it fresh longer is by storing it in your freezer immediately after use. Storing coffee in the freezer does not freeze the coffee, so it is always ready for use without any defrosting.

WHERE DOES SOLVEA COFFEE DONATE?

Giving Back

We believe in community beyond the cup. That’s why we donate1% of every sale to support first responders and causes that matter—like the Fallen Firefighter Foundation, youth programs, and environmental initiatives. Every sip helps fuel something bigger.

HOW DO BLENDS AND SINGLE ORIGIN COFFEES DIFFER?

Coffee blending is an artful process that involves combining beans from multiple origins to craft a distinct and intentional flavor profile. Each blend is carefully curated to deliver a taste that stands apart—complex, balanced, and memorable. Solvea Coffee Co. takes pride in this craft, using our expertise to create signature blends that offer a truly unique experience in every cup.

Alongside our blends, Solvea Coffee Co. also offers single origin coffees—beans sourced from one specific region or farm. These coffees highlight the natural characteristics of their origin, offering flavor notes that are pure, expressive, and deeply tied to place. Often released seasonally, single origin offerings bring a sense of rarity and connection, making each sip feel like a limited-edition journey.
